Downeast Food was established in 1981. It was opened with the goal of providing Maine bakeries, restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops exceptional service and products they can depend on.

Downeast provides products for all food businesses as well as orchards, homemakers and walk in retail customers. We offer a 15,000 ft. warehouse as well as a 40x40 ft. freezer to house over 5,000 items.

Our business has grown over the years to include over 12 employees and 7 delivery trucks. Our employees are dedicated to exceptional customer service, team work and loyalty to the company.

We have employees that have been with Downeast Food for over 15 years and the one's that have newly joined our team are here to stay.

Our customer base continues to grow daily throughout the state of Maine, many of which is through word of mouth from other satisfied customers.

We offer a wide variety of products to cater to many different types of food services ranging from all natural organic to candy stores.
